Boy or Girl? {Intelligender Review and Giveaway}

With the girls, we never found out if they were boy or girl during the pregnancy.  And, it’s so funny to tell people that, and then they offer their opinion just by looking at you.  Good times.

This time around, we are finding out boy or girl.  But, you can’t find out until like 16-20 weeks.  So, we thought we’d try out another option.  Enter Intelligender, a gender prediction test from mom’s urine (after 10 weeks)*.

Now, Intelligender tells me that they are running about 82% accurate real-world results.  And, being only 13 weeks, I don’t know if I am going to improve their stats or not, but it was still fun and easy to do.

The box comes with a cup, a syringe and the test.  Collect the urine, use the syringe to draw up the appropriate amount in the directions, put it in the test and leave it still (after a gentle swirling) for 5 minutes.  Then, you look at the color and read your results.

And…my results say….

Of course, we are excited about the idea of a boy.  Mr. Serious was super excited.  Again, we’ll wait for the ultrasound to see the parts, but it’s fun right now having the idea of it being a boy.

As pictured above, I also received the elasti-oil from the Intellicueticals line for mom and baby.  I don’t want to jinx myself, but I’m quite lucky to not have pregnancy induced stretch marks.  However, I get super dry and itchy skin and this oil is definitely helping.

So, I’ll be sure to let you know what the ultrasound says at the end of November.  In the meantime, it was super easy and fun to use…and we’re secretly hoping it’s right!
