Breaking Records and Taking Names | Mommy and Me Monday The 114th ed.
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
I haven’t heard the official count just yet, but I’ll update here when I do. Saturday, at the Great Cloth Diaper Change Atlanta, along with many other locations around the world, we attempted to break the world record of the most simultaneously changed cloth diapers.
We got there early, E had a little meal, then into the wrap she went. We walked around, chatted with other moms, and checked out some vendors.
Then, we got all settled on the floor in a circle. We were all ready for the official change.
We first held up our new diapers, all ready to be changed into (no picture), then we did the change. And, then we held up our old diapers we changed out of (yellow zest Applecheeks), then we held up the clean bums in their new diapers (raspberry sorbet Applecheeks). She her cute little bum in the air?
All changed up!
Poor thing was out cold when it was time for the change. I had to wake her up and she was a little out of it! But, you know, when you are breaking world records, sometimes those naps have to take a little interruption!
So, here’s to breaking world records, one clean baby bum in a cute cloth diaper at a time!
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**
I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love. Please spread the love! And, I never mind the comments, either:)
I attended the Great Cloth Diaper Change for the first time last year and ad a blast. I even shot a video interview with a cloth diapering mom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOwMHwCr4Hk
Why didn’t we see you there this year?
I had a speaking engagement with a women in business group the same morning, otherwise I would have been there!
What a cute little booty on E! Love it!
Thanks..of course I agree:)
So cool! Being part of history for any event is something to talk about for generations.
Here’s hoping..and maybe influence them, too!
i think it’s great you are doing your part to help the environment by using cloth diapers. I am glad E does not have any issues with them. Her little bum is surely cute in raspberry sorbet.
love her little head poking out of the wrap! too cute!
Sometimes, she’ll get her little fingers out…people oohh and ahhh over it!
I’m glad you went! Cooler than it sounded when you first told me about it
Very cool! There was a local consignment store here in Annapolis that hosted this too!
Oh, very cool! We had to drive like 45 minutes to get to it!
Such a cutie, I’m going to participate now its been awhile since I had a picture to use!!
So glad to have you joining in again!
So cute! Hurray for breaking records!
Here’s hoping…we still haven’t officially heard yet.
Look how big she is already! How quickly time passes… 🙂 She’s adorable.
Seriously…way too quickly. I feel like I just found out I was pregnant with her.
Could she be any cuter? And I’m a tad jealous of all your diaper choices…
We do have some cute ones….but most of them are solid:) There are some super cute prints out there, though!
How cool is that? Awesome!!!! 🙂
I can’t wait to hear the official count..we still haven’t yet!
She’s so adorable! <3
Thank you!
So fun, I just love it! Also, how is she growing so fast? Sweetie pie… 🙂
It was fun…and yeah, why do they grow? It’s not right…

We still haven’t heard yet! Fingers crossed.
