Don’t mess with Texas
Yes, we’re taking a vacay for Spring Break. Guess I forgot to tell you all!
We’re in the great Lone Star State!
Favorite bumper sticker sighting so far? A picture of the Texas flag with the word “Succeed.” If that doesn’t capture the typical Texas mentality, I don’t know what does (and remember, I’m a native, so I can say that!)
While out today getting a treat (more on that to come later….can you guess where we were and what we were getting by the rest of the picture?) some little punky high school girls left this trash on their seats! Turds! It took everything in me not to go tell them to clean up after themselves…but they were already in the car, and I’m on vacation after all!
Don’t they know the state motto? “Don’t mess with Texas!”
Thankfully, Mr. Serious is a good man…he picked it up and threw it away!

Our Erin adopted a precious baby boy yesterday afternoon. This morn he started running a fever. He is sick and back in the hospital tonight. We are worried and sad. They have run tests but we have no idea what is wrong.Please pray for our little Calan. We only had him home for less than 24 hours but we all love him more than words can say. He has to be ok…. he just has to.

Talk about will power. I would have said something to those girls. I’ve said things to random train passengers who leave their newspaper (that is no longer readable to the next person who sits on the train) on the train seat. It’s not always pretty and I usually end up chasing them with their left over junk. Maybe I should wash my hands.
