Isn’t this why you had kids?


The other day, was yet again a horrible nap time.

Seems to be a trend around here.

And, we had plans to “do something fun” after nap time, so we told the girls they would have to help us out with our chores.

#2 jumped right in with the laundry.

She did such a good job and hung up every single on her shirts and her sister’s shirts.  I was beyond impressed.  (Not the importance of the tongue sticking out for complete concentration).

The trouble is, she enjoyed it so much that I’m not sure it was punishment.

But, I think that’s okay.  After all, she hung up all of the shirts!

  4. Oh my! I’m really impressed! I do all I can do bear hanging that much laundry. Really. It’s quite ridiculous and it’s like I have to coach myself through it – might as well finish it, you’re going to have to do it later, just keep going, not too much more…

    1. I’m the same way. I can wash it all day, but folding and putting it away. Ick!

    1. I doubt you are doing anything wrong. Iz has no interest is folding clothes or hanging them.

    1. Oh, I definitely will! There wasn’t a single complaint from me.

    1. No…not kids, just kid. Isabelle could care less (although, she will do it if asked). But, there are plenty of other things that they don’t do!

  7. Great punishment – that’s why I had kids… I used to tell them that all the time whenever they asked me why I made them do “all this work!!” HaHa
