Mom 2.0 Mommy and Me Monday | 272nd ed
I spent four days again this year with my people at Mom 2.0. Including booking the same flight with three of them. (shhh…we only got told to be quiet once because the man in front of us asked if we were having a “private party.” For the record, we weren’t. And we weren’t loud. And we weren’t drinking!)
And, once we got there, we had an amazing view of Camelback Mountain.
I met new and old friends (and finally took pictures with some) and missed the memo about dressing in orange and red for the Phoenix party.
Which meant that Mr. Serious spent four days with our little people parenting solo. I think he did a pretty good job and kept me updated with some pictures.
He even took the four of them a couple places in the car, which is no small task. I think they like donuts!
Equally impressive is a picture he took of all four of them almost looking in the same direction.
While there aren’t any pictures of me and the girls together this week, I figure since I’m in a picture or two, that counts, and since Mr. Serious spent more of the week with them, he should count, too. So, rules schmules, as long as you are linking up with a legit post about you and your kids, we are good to go.
And, a big shout out to Mr. Serious for holding down the fort, making sure the girls showered and changed their clothes and even washing the diapers while I was gone! Thank you for giving me the chance to be with people like me and letting me be a weirdo!
What were you up to this weekend?
Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.*
What fun for you to get a mini-break and enjoy that conference! I need to pay attention to the schedule for it next year. Also, kudos to your husband for holding down the fort. Trying to juggle 2 kids is adventurous so I’m sure 4 is more so.
Glad you had a fun trip!! Hmm, maybe I should think about taking a vacation and letting my husband hold down the fort sometime soon!
Looks like great times!
