Mommy and Me Monday from Disney World | 350th ed

You guys. THIS IS THE 350TH EDITION OF MOMMY AND ME MONDAY! I’ve been encouraging getting in the picture with your kids for 350 Mondays! And, this post goes to show you that it doesn’t have to be amazing or perfect. It just has to be real life. Living every day and grabbing a picture. 

This past week, I went on a trip with friends going to a conference and at Disney World. And, I’ve had ALL the fun!

Before I left, I grabbed a picture with Doc McStuffins and my little bunny-lover.

There weren’t a lot of phone calls while at Disney World. They were happy, I was happy and I didn’t want to mess with the light side of The Force, so there weren’t a lot of calls.

B talked to me on the phone for the first time. Without seeing me on FaceTime. It was pretty surreal that she talked to me and I understood what she was saying and she understood me. 

Another day, we FaceTimed and I was able to talk with all of the girls except E….because DinoTrucks was more important and I didn’t want to compete and talk to a crying preschooler.

So, B was close-talking and it was adorable.

The 8 year old jumped in and did some close-talking, so I joined in, too. If this isn’t special for you, I don’t know what is!

I got three out of four in one shot (again, the DinoTrucks), and almost everybody was smiling.

These two bigs, I’m certain have been really helpful at home with their sisters and dinner and life. I’m certain of it.

I forgot to get one picture of Mr. Serious and I on FaceTime, but it did happen. So, instead, I’ll include my Test Track picture from Epcot that I did just for Mr. Serious (okay, so I also sent him a picture of me “kissing” Captain Jack Sparrow). It was a little reminder to him that I love him and that I’m very appreciative of him working from home and staying with the kids so I could get out and do grown up things for me!

All this to say, JUST GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT!
