A week of random | Mommy and Me Monday | 395th ed

We knew it was going to be a gorgeous day Monday and since it was a holiday (Labor Day), so did everybody else. But we lucked out and got a front row parking spot and had willing hike participants.

Surprisingly the trail wasn’t all that crowded either. Three of the four did the entire walk. And the fourth, well, she’s three and, you all know how three is, right?

When we got to the top, we got a squinty-eyed group shot of the kiddos while Mr. Serious held up his jacket to make a shadow on them. 

We went up a little further and then took the road down. Then we hopped in the car, and grabbed a snack for the girls at Chick-fil-a. Full bellies = less complaining. Because we wanted to hit Zumba together.

We grabbed a post workout Zumba selfie. The room was PACKED and HOT. 

Later in the week, the bestie (and a room full of other social media people) hit the road for a Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in Atlanta. It’s always a good time, and they always have the best speakers to inspire.

The rest of the week was a blur with a kiddo passing out and having to run her to the doctor and to get labs (she’s fine…don’t know why it happened) and a cake baking / birthday party project I will tell you all about soon. 

We ended the week with some karate for the girls and that party celebration. 

Now, we hunker down. The trampoline has been flipped over. All of the backyard and porch stuff has been brought inside. Fingers and toes crossed that Irma comes through quickly and touches as little as possible. It’s kind of crazy to think that my Houston family and now my family have all been hit by a hurricane/storm within a month.
