THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

This past week, the girls had a different school schedule (as opposed to the previous week where they were all virtual). Typically, I do my weight workouts on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

And usually I do them in the afternoon, but the older two had cross country practice and I didn’t want a post-dinner workout. So, I did it midday.

I asked E to join me. She’s joined us before, but it’s hit or miss if she wants to or not (and never any pressure).

This Tuesday, she was excited to join in and got dressed and ready with a quickness.

It was a new set of exercises for the month, so there was more of me figuring them out and then helping E with hers. She does bodyweight exercises.

One exercise was stability ball leg curls with 4 second lowering. This was after some deadlifts and bulgarian split squats and our hamstrings were yelling at us!

But, she did them all and took my help and suggestions very well! I wanted to capture her exercise and have a sneaky mommy and me monday slide into the picture in the mirror.

But, then when we were done, she wanted a flexing in the mirror picture, too. Who am I to argue with that?

You can also spy the our bookend girls’ workouts on the mirrors. They are both very unique and quite the challenging workouts.

I love when they want to exercise and join us with being as strong as we can be! Keep flexing those muscles, girls!

It’s great when we get to spend time with our children doing an activity that is a positive in self care. It also helps me to work out when I have someone to work out with. Thanks for sharing this.
