Mommy and Me Monday | The Christmas Edition (#97)

Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend with family and friends and enjoyed every minute of it.
Pretty sure I overdid it this weekend (muffler replacement, painted baby girls’ room, cleaning, cooking, making homemade cinnamon rolls, brunch with friends and Christmas Eve service). I had BH contractions that actually hurt and ended up spending Saturday night and most of Sunday in the recliner with my feet up and water near by. Hoping the resting for two days gives my body a break and reminds baby girl to stay put for a couple more weeks (less than 7).
I made sure to scoop my girls up and get a picture with them (as was the typical for most of the day, I took pictures of everybody else). One is very excited to have her princess crown and the other is thrilled about her “makeup” (aka piggy paint nail polish).
I sit her in the recliner using my new laptop lap desk (instead of a pillow) and am finding it pretty comfy.

Okay, two comments about the hair? Y’all are either being super nice…or just can’t think of anything else! In honestly, I recently got it cut, and I’m going to get it fixed next week! It’s uneven in the back and the longest layer is too long!

Okay, momma! Take it easy! Like you said, baby needs to bake a little longer! I feel the same way about the weekend, I think I got myself in a handful of pictures, but it was mostly me taking pictures of everyone else. I’m just glad to have it all on camera to remember years from now!
