Mother’s Day Tea | Mommy and Me Monday | 168th ed.

This week, I had the privilege of attending a Mother’s Day Tea at N’s school. She had spent weeks on Mother’s Day crafts, and songs prepared especially for us. It was most definitely a treat.
I had never been to a Mother’s Day event and it was super fancy. I’m glad I decided to change into a dress last minute (although you can’t tell from the picture). I even inspired me to come up with a list of 5 easy and inexpensive ways to make mom happy.

Natalie did a fabulous job on your hat! I like the bright colors and the big sunflower in the front.
I got mom a really neat gift at Kroger of all places. It’s a glass top side table to use outside with a hummingbird on it…it looks kind of like stained glass. It was rather inexpensive, and I hope to get her a plant I like to go on top of it.
Turns out? The teacher made the hat….ugh. Why can’t the kids make less than perfect stuff? Drives me crazy!

Yeah, it’s hard to give the older kids when there’s a baby around! I have trouble with 2, I can only imagine how it is with 3.
