Inglesina Swift Umbrella Stroller Review and Giveaway {Hayneedle.com} |Road Trip Event

Hayneedle carries a variety of items representing many stores.  From patio furniture to bedroom furniture, from storage to sports and games.  They carry pretty much everything. image

Hayneedle sent us the Inglesina Swift Umbrella Stroller in orange from their store, JustStrollers for our road trip.  We had our fairly large travel system stroller and a really, really bad (free with purchase) umbrella stroller.  I had even previously purchased another umbrella stroller, only to take it back because both Mr. Serious and I kicked the wheels.

The Inglesina Swift Umbrella Stroller has all of the following features:

The stroller arrived very quickly from Hayneedle. I was very impressed with the speed.

It came in a really small box.  I had my camera all ready to show how easy it is to put together once removed from the box.

It wasn’t even necessary.  All I had to do was remove a plastic bag and it was ready to go.  That was impressive off the bat.  No wheels to put on, no screws to put in.

#2 was immediately curious and asking about her “strow-wer.”

Immediately, I noticed the latch that keeps the stroller together.  It is very strong and heavy duty.  Even better?  When you close the stroller up (which involves no bending over and only two foot presses) the latch automatically catches so you don’t have to try to close it together while holding your baby.

Opposite this side of the latch is a carrying handle which allows you to move it and pick it up with ease.

She wanted to go for a ride immediately.  Notice the 5-point harness (which can be adjusted to a 3-point harness).  #2 is very tall for her age and she fits very well in the stroller.

And out for a walk before we took our trip to test it out.  Neither Mr. Serious nor I kicked the wheels with average walking.  If we took bigger than average steps, we sometimes kicked the wheels.

It took up very minimal space in the back of our van which was super important, because as you can see, there wasn’t a lot of extra room.  It came in handy when we made a trip to the mall and also when we wanted to go for a walk.

Also, the orange comes in really handy when walking in our neighborhood as we don’t have sidewalks and it makes the stroller much more visible.

Improvements: Overall, we were very impressed with the stroller.  I would like to see a larger sun shade on the top as it didn’t block out as much sun as I would have liked on my fair-skinned little girl.

    But only one thing? Hmmmm. I’d have to indulge and say an oversize chaise lounge, like the one I fell in love with when we went on vacation in May. No idea where it would fit in my house, but I’d love to have it just the same! 🙂
