Keep the passion alive
We’ve been married 10 and a half years! And we’ve been together for 16! Over half of our lives. Yep, he’s stuck with me!
And, as some people like to say, with 4 kids, it’s a safe bet we know how to keep the passion alive (yep, I went there!)
In all seriousness, it’s super hard work! Marriage is hard and it’s even harder with kids because they take your focus off each other. You have to work hard to refocus on each other.
I’m over at the Who’s Yo Mommy Blog, telling you how I slip into something a little more comfortable to keep the passion alive.
No, it’s not what you think. Head over and have a read. And while you are there, check out some others, too. Hot and Bothered had me cracking up!

We make sure to get a date night once in a while. And to always kiss each other goodbye. Last night, Hubs held my hand when we watched TV in bed. 🙂 It’s those little things when you can’t always have a romantic beach vacation!
Nope none but I’m a special kind of crazy. Lol
I’ll pop over and read! It’s definitely hard finding quality “us” time that doesn’t involve kid games – and kids.
I think I fell in love with my husband even more after we had kids. Off to check out the post!
Our biggest is making time for each other, no matter what… and it is hard to do that at times.
I will be heading over there. Congratulations to you and your hubby. Marriage is tough especially keeping things alive. Sometimes you need to laugh.
No tips here but I do have to share my uncle who was married more than 50 years recounted to me that he and my aunt were having picnic lunches together when work got to busy. He teared up as he was telling me and I was talking about my own marriage.
