A special hot chocolate treat
With the super cold snow this week, we were a little ill-prepared. We have some cold weather gear, but no real snow gear. So when the girls went outside to build a snowman with the melting snow, they wore little knitted gloves. (“We’re not cold, mom!”) And, they sure did a good job with their snowman, or should I say “snow woman” because they named her Mary! She had a carrot nose and grapes for eyes and a mouth, but the snow was so melty it didn’t stay in place.
Of course, once I finally had them come inside and thaw out, their little hands were super cold, and they were requesting hot chocolate. I had just the treat, TruMoo’s Chocolate Marshmallow milk, their special February flavor at Target. It’s like a pre-prepared cup of hot chocolate! Of course, we may or may not have added a little more marshmallows to it after we gently heated it on the stove. Because when you are having hot chocolate, you go all out with the marshmallows, even if the milk is already chocolate marshmallow flavor!
Wouldn’t you know, they warmed right up and were ready to go back outside and add another layer to their snow woman!
Not only does TruMoo come in the special flavor Chocolate Marshmallow, but Chocolate and Vanilla milks that are available year-round.
TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk is made with fresh white milk sourced from regional dairies around the country – pure cocoa and just enough natural sugar to make it taste great. It contains no artificial growth hormones and no high fructose corn syrup. Making it a nice treat to warm up hands and bodies after playing in the snow.
Keep up with TruMoo on Facebook and Twitter to make sure you are aware of other limited edition flavors and deals and promotions they might have.
I had no idea – chocolate marshmellow sounds yummy. Like you, we didn’t have real “snow gear”. The kids had on leather work clothes, knit gloves and no gloves (between the 4 of them). The snow here was too powdery to really stick together well.
I drink a glass of Chocolate milk every morning. I am going to get this next time. Just the chocolate though. Not a big fan of march mallows.
this sounds great… and I think Broxton would really like it 🙂
My daughter LOVES TruMoo. And marshmallows. So this would be two thumbs up in our house! 🙂
Top it with some whipped cream, I know defeats the lower sugar count, and we added a yummy heart treat too. If your family likes mint flavored hot cocoa, you can add the peppermint chocolate to the bottom of the glass and then add your hot milk. YUMMY.
