Frito Lay Spices up Snack Time {Review and Giveaway}

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Frito Lay is spicing up their snacks.  And, even better they are using whole grains in them, too.  They’ve recently introduced Tostitos Hint of Jalapeno tortilla chips and SunChips Jalapeno Jack multigrain snacks.

And, they are tasty!  Like, I opened the bag of Tostitos and pretty much had to have Mr. Serious take them away from me they are so good.  I shared them with coworkers who thought the same.  They are delicious, with just the right kick of spicy.

We used them for nachos and seven layer dip (a very healthy version) and they were awesome.

Tostitos Hint of Jalapeno Review

Spice Up the Whole Grains

· SunChips multigrain snacks pack a punch with 18 grams of whole grains per serving and now they are available in Jalapeno Jack flavor for an even spicier snacking experience!

· Tostitos tortilla chips are another great option. Made with all natural ingredients – corn, healthier oils and salt, they pack 8 grams of whole grains into each serving. Two new Tostitos flavors have hit store shelves – Hint of Jalapeno & Hint of Jalapeno Jack – with a bolder whole grain snack!

Southwestern “Caviar”

  • ½ cup diced green bell peppers
  • ½ cup diced red bell peppers
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeded and chopped (for spicier caviar, do not seed)

Instructions

  • In large bowl, gently toss all ingredients until evenly mixed.

I love this dip and frequently made it in college…sans onion of course!
