Thank goodness for flat irons

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It took me way too long to learn how to style my hair.  My hair is super frizzy and crazy!  (No, I won’t show you a picture).  I didn’t own my first flat iron until college.  Thankfully, somebody steered me right, and I went straight for a professional flat iron.

I’ve used and abused them, too, and gone through some of the best flat irons out there.  I used to go for the wider ones, thinking those were better and would be quicker.image

However, I’m a changed woman.  I was recently sent the Hana Professional Flat Iron 1-inch pink edition.  I’ve never had one that was only one-inch.  I was pleasantly surprised.  It was much easier to work with then the wider ones I’ve had.   Plus, it’s pink and super girly. It’s also much lighter than the previous ones I’ve owned.

In addition to the flat iron, it came with a silicon heat protecting pad.  This is more than handy.  I literally burned our counter top with another flat iron before having this pad.  I had no idea anything like this even existed before now.

Improvements: On the part where you hold the flat iron, it seems like it is only supposed to be held one way, so I am often having to flip it over.  The side that shouldn’t hold your thumb gets must hotter than the other side.  I would like to see them add this to both sides, because I often don’t look down to see which side I am grabbing.

Buy it: Head over to Misikko and check out all of the flat irons and other hair care prodcuts they sell: Chi flat irons, Babybliss flat irons and more.  They have same day, free shipping on many of their products.

I received the Hana Professional Flat Iron from Misikko for review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  1. Your post remember me that I need to buy a flat iron.

  2. Oh, I'll have to check this one out further! I have been wanting to get a new flat iron (cannot live without one!), and a smaller one too. I was thinking about going from my 2 inch to 1 1/2 inch, but maybe now the 1 inch. And I really would love something lighter! Thanks for this post!
