It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

What an honor it was to take E on her very first slide ride. Even better? She totally LOVED it. All squeals (good ones) and smiles.

E's first slide ride

Once the two bigs were in on what we were doing, they had to come and join, too. (This was a very slow and easy slide with a very gentle slope).

All the girls on the slide

Blurry, wonderful, smiling faces joy!

blurry awesomeness

And, Mr. Serious got in on it, too (sheesh, somebody feed that man a sandwich. Can you tell he’s getting skinny, too?) Thankfully, I caught a not-too-blurry smile on E.

And, this girl. She wanted a picture, too. Had to oblige!

It was a nice break from the craziness of this week. I’m pretty sure we were the only full family at the birthday party, but I’m glad we were all there.

Last week’s sneak peak? From The Croods. It was pretty cute and had some great 3D effects. My girls were scared for a large part of the movie, but they are scared of most movies. I liked it and thought it had some funny and charming parts. There were a couple dark parts and several death references (making it PG instead of G), but overall cute. I asked the girls if they would watch it again and they said “yes” (which means a lot!). They also liked Eep the best.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

  2. The jumpy place…how fun! I love the picture Natalie wanted to take. Looks like everyone had a really good time. I hope Mr. Serious indulged in some birthday cake..his cheeks are looking a little too much like a starving super model for my liking. Maybe he needs me to send some Snickers his way.
