Making lunch time at camp extra special

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

This summer, I found myself having to do something I haven’t done before. Packing lunches for the girls for their camps. Now, I took lunch and Mr. Serious still takes lunch to work and we did water. And, that’s what the girls got, too.

Then, we got some goodies to try out. I’m not normally a fan of the girls drinking straight juice. When they get it at home, it’s like 90% water, 10% juice (and the juice is the 100% type) because I don’t think they need all of that sugar. And this is what we call juice. The other times, it’s water or milk. So, it was definitely a treat for them to try out the Power Rangers Juice Boxes by Genesis Today.

I allowed them to bring them because they have no artificial sweeteners (using Stevia extract..not my favorite), no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup and no chemicals. And, it only has 4 g of sugar and 25 calories. So I know they aren’t going to have a sugar crash, and the calories aren’t going to fill them up!

Genesis Power Rangers Fruit Juice Box Review

Anytime we get something new, I like to try it out first so I can give my opinion and to make sure it’s palatable! These were surprisingly very good. The juice wasn’t overly sweet or strong (contains 10% juice) and actually had a bit of a tart flavor to it. The girls? Loved them. They were excited that there were enough of them for an entire week of their camp and then an extra one for the weekend. They were happy and I was happy. Win-win!

  1. These sound like something Will would enjoy. Juice is a treat here as well. We usually get the smallest size because boys and sugar = one tired mom 🙂

  2. I think I’ll get the smaller size, jonathan is only in kindergarten.
