Giving a gift? Don’t forget the most important part! [VIDEO]
It always happens every Christmas or birthday. There is a gift that is received that needs batteries. Of course, it doesn’t come with them inside. And, the gift-giver didn’t think about it. So, the kids are excited to use their new toy and rummage through everything looking for the right sized batteries for their newest thing. And, the kids are often left sad-faced because they couldn’t find what they needed.
(Check out the video of how my girls felt!)
Don’t be that gift-giver. Remember that, while delayed gratification isn’t a bad thing to learn, I think that right after a present is opened isn’t that time! While you are out shopping this holiday season for toys and goodies, remember that Toys“R”Us is the perfect one-stop-shop to pick up all the toys on your holiday shopping list… but don’t forget the Duracell batteries to make those toys work!
The girls opened their newest toys (see the video above) and weren’t happy to discover they didn’t work without batteries. Fortunately, they dug a little deeper and discovered they were sent with the Light Sabers, too! I discovered they are really good at putting in batteries if they are excited about something.
Side note: I fear that my girls need some Star Wars education and Light Saber practice. Thankfully, they had a good time and continued playing with them long after I was taking pictures!
Make sure you avoid a sticky situation this holiday season and don’t let the batteries be forgotten, your child may be disappointed they can’t play with the toy right away.
