L’Bel USA | Skin Care for your skin’s needs

L’Bel is an international beauty brand encompassing skin care, makeup, fragrance, body care and hair care for men and women.  They just recently launched their site and products in the USA.

They use science to actually back up their skin care products.  And, they are produced exclusively in France.

I attended an event where they introduced us to their skin care, make up, and perfumes.  I’m always a little hesitant when it comes to beauty products because it’s hard for me to find something that works with my skin, has an appealing smell, and doesn’t make me break out.

With L’Bel, I found something that works.  And, I like that they have this little graphic, too.  So, you can figure out what you need for what issues/skincare wants you have.

L'Bel Review

Essential Moisturizing Softening Cleansing Lotion and Essential Softening Lotion Toner

I never really think of my skin as dry. However, after trying the Normal-to-Oily (blue) Essential line) I realized, at least during the winter, I’m a dry skin girl.  I like that the blue line has little exfoliating beads in the wash; but I realized my skin was too sensitive to for it every day.  Now, I use it once a week.

The Normal-to-Dry (pink Essential line) is much better for my winter dry skin.  What’s great about it, is you can use the cleansing lotion with a tissue or cotton square and without water.  Then, you use the softening lotion afterwards.

The result?  Clean, soft skin.

L’Bel’s Essential line features a new formula with an exquisite texture that cleanses, moisturizes and soothes the skin, leaving it incredibly fresh and clean, with no traces of tightness or dryness.

The line is 100% soap-free that works to cleanse the skin and eliminate any trace of dirt or makeup, leaving your skin free of impurities.

Safe for all ages, hypoallergenic and best for normal to dry skin, the Essential line is produced in France and has been clinically tested.

Regression Yeux for Eyes

L'Bel Review

My eyes, oh my eyes.  I’m too wrinkly for my age.  And, I’ve been terrible about doing something about it.  But, now, I’m using the Regression Yeux on my eyes.  I really think my eyes look smoother and less wrinkly.  When I forget to use it, I can tell.

L’Bel’s Regression Yeux helps to temporarily reduce the signs of fatigue to give your eyes a visible rejuvenated look. Its formula works by nourishing and improving microcirculation in the delicate area around the eyes, thereby temporarily minimizing the appearance of puffiness, under-eye circles and wrinkles for a fresh, youthful appearance.

Hydra Calme

Talking about dry skin.  They Hydra Calme really moisturizes your whole body.  My legs and arms get super itchy during the winter.  I put it on, and I’m not itchy.  And, it lasts all day.  Smells wonderful, too (and usually, I have to use unscented lotion, so it’s a plus).

Hydra Calme body lotion offers twenty-four hours of skin moisture and features a milky texture that is light and refreshing. Enriched with shea butter, this lotion provides instant hydration for the skin.

Hydra Calme for the Face

Hydra Calme for the face is a very light-weight moisturizer.  In fact, it is a little too light-weight for my face…again, during the winter.  However, I know, it’s going to be perfect for the summer.  It also smells really good.

L’Bel’s Hydra Calme intensive moisturizing face lotion provides soothing hydration by helping the skin maintain its optimal moisture level. Its ultra-light texture allows for rapid absorption into your skin, keeping the skin hydrated even under extreme temperature changes, and providing an overall comfort to the skin.

Regression Jour Normal to Dry Skin: Protective Complex Against the First Signs of Age With SPF 15 Facial Daily Cream

Since the Hydra Calme was a little too light-weight for me right now, I tried out the Regression Jour.  This one is just perfect for my combination skin. It’s a little heavier, but not too much, and has helped with the winter dry skin.  It absorbs into my skin very easily and makes me look awake and alert.

More than Moisturization: Total Defense.Double shield of protection for the skin that reinforces its own defense mechanisms during the day, hydrates the skin by repairing its protective layer and helps reduce the harmful effects of UVA and UVB rays.  Its ultra-soft, rapidly absorbing formula has been designed to act on the first signs of age. Minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and provides elasticity. Provides restorative hydration. Protects skin against environmental aggresors.

I’ve been very impressed with the L’Bel skincare line.

  6. The L’Bel Moisturizing Softening Cleansing Lotion, which can be used as your facial cleanser at night or morning, is very gentle, and is made completely without soap. No soap is a good thing, because soap can over-irritate your skin and cause (more) breakouts.

This moisturizing cleansing lotion can be applied using a cotton pad, or by hand. You can also choose whether you rinse it off with water, or just gently rub it off with a cotton ball or pad. I applied it with a cotton pad and used warm water to rinse. Once I fully rinsed, my skin felt like I applied a moisturizer!

Immediately after I used the Essential Moisturizing Softening Toner. It instructed me to gently tap the toner on to my face by using a cotton pad. The toner was really gentle as well and made my skin feel soft and ‘firm’. It gave me a perfect base for my primer and foundation. Thumbs up!
