Hanging with B | Mommy and Me Monday | 380th ed
Figuring out the new normal with half the kids out of school for half of the week and then all of them out has been interesting. And busy. I don’t remember it being this busy. Of course, I scheduled a lot of it!
E had swim lessons first thing in the morning the entire week. They aren’t long enough for me to run errands so B and I went and walked around the neighborhood. And of course, selfies.
I need to get her saying tongue on record because it’s one of those that you can’t repeat if you try. And, I know she will stop before I can permanently remember it. (Also, a word about picnic, aka pic-i-nic. Yes, extra syllables!)
The last two days of lessons, I had the whole crew. One day we all walked. The last day, the instructor invited the kids to swim in her heated pool. I wasn’t up for getting in with B, so we supervised. She stole her sister’s sweater (why was it 57 in the morning? Not sure, but I’ll take it!). Then she kept lounging in my lap like a baby. She didn’t want a picture, but I got one before she wiggled away and started rearranging rocks.
(I’m writing this ahead of time because vacation. husband. mexico….so, I’m probably maybe missing the kiddos, but they are probably having way more fun with their grandparents anyways!)
Did you get in the picture this week?
GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. What cute photos with B! I’m trying to juggle the chaos right now that is working part time, getting my daughter to day care those days; and my son to camp daily. Sort of looking forward to track out ending and him going back to school next week so we can regain a tiny bit of normalcy. 😉
The summer chaos (or in your case the track out/track in) makes things crazy. We are trying to figure it all out this week, and keep everybody entertained, happy and fed.
