Driveway Time | Mommy and Me Monday | 403rd ed
Our Summer turned to Fall and then Spring in the blink of a week. We went from winter coats to light jackets to shorts. Georgia weather always keeps us on our toes. Thankfully, it hasn’t been too wet, so we’ve enjoyed some outside time.
One day this week, B and I were hanging out in the driveway. She brought out some games, so we played dominoes and Othello and a couple others. Of course, how we play them and how the directions say to play them are two very different things.
Then we had to stop and take some silly pictures.
What? You don’t stick your tongue out for your best look?
This open mouth thing? It was totally her idea! I think she might actually have a bigger mouth than me. Or my TMJ prevents me from opening mine as big as hers.
Then, her littlest big sister got home and it was time for some serious chalk driveway art. They were drawing things for me to guess what they are…and now I don’t remember. That rectangle was something. A bed maybe?
I’m definitely not regretting reclaiming our family time for right now. We’ve all needed this slow down.
What did you do this week?
