We started our week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, just a quick 6 hour (which turned into more like a 7.5 hour) car ride away from our house.

We played at the beach as much as you can in 50 degree weather, chased waves, jumped over waves, floated in the lazy river, explored the area and had some delicious food.

Before we knew it, Thanksgiving was here.

We were invited to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving, so we had some time in the morning instead of preparing dinner. I requested a hike up Kennesaw Mountain and my people obliged. It was little chilly, and surprisingly crowded, but it was a nice way to start the day that is historically full of eating (and drinking) too much.

We were fortunate enough to stop a nice gentleman and have him take our picture to document our Thanksgiving morning. Which is a good thing because it’s actually the only pictures I got from the entire day!  Sometimes, that’s a good thing!

We ended our day with friends, family, good food, full bellies, great drinks, fun and laughter. It was definitely a great Thanksgiving!

What did you do this week?

GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Come share your picture on the Facebook thread or use #MommyAndMeMonday!

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.
