There are so many great cloth diapers out there. I’ve found that I’m a fan of pockets and also prefolds and covers. Monkey Doodlez has created the ideal combination of both of these with the the Tuck and Go™.

The Tuck and Go™ is composed of It  two pieces, the cover and the pads. The cover is two-sized with a row of snaps for the rise adjustment, making the diaper more accommodating for your growing baby but still allowing the same size pad to fit into the diaper.

The Tuck and Go™ cover is unlike any other cover I’ve seen before. Sewn around the edges of the diaper is a soft microfleece making it both comfortable and adding an additional “layer” of leak protection. (You can also see the laundry tabs as well. They are super strong and never budged in the wash.)

The tuck zone in both the front and the back edge leaves a place for you to “tuck” in the insert or pad quickly and effortlessly. It’s sort of like a pocket for the pad, but you don’t have to stuff it in, just tuck it into the edges and you are good to go.

You can make the cover even more versatile for yourself because you can use it with prefolds or fitted diapers as well. It’s nice when a company recognizes that you might have different preferences and combine different pieces to make the perfect diaper for you little one at any given time.

Their Tuck and Go™ pads goes easily into the cover and stays in place.  They are made of thick and thirsty 100% cotton (1 layer of 18oz terry for size small, 2 layers for all other sizes; sold in sets of three) wrapped in a super soft non-pill microfleece (67% polyester and 33% Bamboo viscose).  It is so very soft, feels fluffy and absorbs a ton. It is incredibly wicking, too. You can’t even feel the wetness on the surface of the pad. Since the small is only one layer, I doubled it up at night just to make sure we didn’t have any leaks, and we weren’t anywhere close to it.

The pad is designed to tuck into the cover, yet falls out easily by simply turning the cover over once soiled (you can do the same with a prefold inside of it, too).

It sure is hard to capture this moving picture, but the pad just fell right out!

Once you’ve determined how you are going to “fill” the diaper, it fastens just like an all-in-one or disposable. Just wrap it around, close it and you are good to go. It’s a great fit on our little girl (here about 10lbs). It’s snug on her legs, yet super soft of them.

And since the hook and look closure has cross over tabs, I got a great fit on her waist, too. It is so trim, too. When I had it on her, I had to make sure that we remembered to put a pad in it!

What I would change. Not much. I’d like to see the small insert pads with two layers (what can I say, she can pee, but we never did have a leak, so maybe I don’t need two layers). And, I know the hook and loop is friendly for daddys and grandparents, but we like snaps, so I’d like to see a snap version, too.

Overall it’s a very easy diaper to use with a lot of flexibility because of the overlapping hook and loop, the snaps on the rise and the fact that I can use other things in the cover besides the pads.
