Terrorists?
I’m not trying to make anybody else upset, but I was pretty ticked off when I saw this posted on a businesses marque. Feel free to leave your comments (but resist the urge to cuss if you can).
WTH is that?
I’ve got two reasons that is makes me mad:
1) We’ve got people dying, getting injured and spending time away from their families to fight the terrorists and they say that they are at the gas pumps.
2) We are so fortunate as a country to be able to buy whatever car/gas guzzling machine we want and to fill it up at our leisure. Go to Europe, you will pay the equivalent of $8-$10 a gallon for gas, and we are complaining about $3-$3.50?
Of course, I’m not happy that it costs me $50 to fill my sedan’s gas tank, but I’m not going to complain or blame it on the “terrorists!”
Isn’t this very similar to the grief Obama’s been getting over his minister’s comments? The minister said something very very similar. I could not agree with you more. It’s easy to complain in a country that allows freedom of speech. I’d love to see that person spout off in Russia, China, Cuba, or IRAQ!
I completely agree with you. It’s really ridiculous what people say and the way they act.
And well said AFF for pointing out the similarity of it all.
Couldnt have put it better – I am with you 100%!!
