[VIDEO] Up Close with the Graco® Swivi Seat™ Highchair
The newest and unique feature of the Graco® Swivi Seat™ Highchair is that it swivels at the seat a full 360 degrees. No more dragging the high chair around the edge of our table. Now, we can just swivel it to turn from the table to facing our stove. Or, during meal time we can switch off between mom and dad feeding baby.
At the party, around 10 bloggers met to learn about the Graco® Swivi Seat™ Highchair and all of the features. Having had a climber before, I’m really thankful for the 5-point harness (that can be switched to a 3-point) to I won’t turn around to find a baby standing in the seat.
I’m also a fan of the adjustable calf and foot support. The calf support pivots up and the foot support can slide out to adjust to three different positions. The 5 position recline combined with the leg adjustments mean this will work starting with a tinier baby and go through toddler. It also comes with the infant insert (with the pattern as shown) to help support smaller babies (my stand-in baby is what I would consider a bigger than average baby and more the equivalent of a 12-18 month old).
The tray insert is dishwasher safe and what I really appreciate is the one-hand trey removal. It is so much easier than the two-hands required for the seat we have now. The Swivi Seat™ has 5 height adjustments to accomodate different tables and different height babies.
When the two buttons are squeezed underneath the seat, it folds up and will actually continue to stand on it’s own unsupported.

What are the necessary features you require of a highchair?

I would have loved that with my boys. 🙂 Maybe they would have stayed in it longer if they could have turned around. The novelty for that alone is awesome, not to mention the space saving.
We had our now three year old in a booster at like 18 months because she wanted to be at the table with us.
That little smile. She is so stinking cute. I think this highchair is super handy. We love it too!
Wow! This case sounds so awesome! This is going to go flying off the shelves. Baby B looks like she is so comfortable in the chair.
Once she warmed up to the crowd, she was digging the seat!
I sure do wish we would have had this when you were a baby. Highchairs back then had a lap strap only
I love the idea of a swiveling high chair! We have a chair that needs to go badly – the vinyl is all all ripped in so many places, but at this point, we’re just waiting until we don’t need it anymore! Looks like a good high chair!
There are definitely pros and cons to the vinyl. It’s easy to wipe clean, but it seems to crack much faster/sooner!
I’m a fan of Graco too. Had the stroller, 2 car seats and a pack n play.
Glad B is enjoying it!
And when B did turn on the charm, it was soooooo cute. The perfect little model. Great video review!
Interesting! I’m always amazed at the new stuff companies come up with.
Seriously wish I had this right now. It’s such a pain to move a giant highchair around our little kitchen!
I love the 5 point harness! I wish I had on on our high chair. We have tons of Graco baby gear too for our three littles.
Wow! What a great feature that makes feeding little ones so much easier! I would have loved this for my kids! By the way, B is totally adorable! Love that toothy smile!
