When was the last time you backed up your computer?
This post brought to you by Carbonite. All opinions are 100% mine.
This is my reminder to myself! I’ve got an external hard drive, but I practically never remember to hook it up to do my computer backup. So, my problem is that I’ve got to hook it up.
What do I need to use? Carbonite, which is an unlimited online backup. Even better? It works automatically and continually in the background backing up files. When? As long as your computer is connected to the internet.
It’s a no brainer. You don’t have to do anything. It’s completely automatic, simple and most importantly, secure.
My business relies on my computer. I store all of my files on it. Really, I need a place to store them off-site! I need a backup of my irreplaceable files – things like documents, pictures, music and email.
And, these backed up files can be accessed from any computer or on your smartphone or iPad with a free Carbonite app.
Unlimited backup for your PC or Mac, with anytime-anywhere-access is only $59 a year. You can try it free for 15 days (and you don’t even have to use a credit card. And, when you decide to jump on board you get two free months when you use the code BLOGAD!
Oh I’ve gotten in trouble so many times for not backing up my computer.
I’ve lost info and gotten it back and lost it again. I used to back up just my documents on a flash drive. then I got crazy with my digital camera. I don’t back it up nearly as often as I should, but have been lucky lately. As soon as I reformat my external hard drive for my MAC I’ll back it up again.
I’ve been blessed with a phenomenal IT guy at work who has rescued 2 computers for me.
Oh, you are VERY lucky! The camera and photoshop files are what kill me.
Now, go format that drive (it’s super easy) and back up your computer…and I’ll do the same!
I considered online backup but concerned that the process will take too long
