Her chariot awaits
Princess Cinderella #1 was spoiled by Prince Charming Grandpa this Thanksgiving weekend by getting her a ride in a horse drawn carriage. Nothing is much sweeter than seeing that joy on her face.
Thankfully, there was no turning into a pumpkin or mice and a mule! But, I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the lack of glass slippers.
Funny thing about this chariot? The driver asked #1 if she wanted to feed Black Beauty Hershel a carrot, and she was very excited. He handed me the carrot and told me that Hershel would take it right out of my hand. And, the hand that he was using to pass me the carrot? Totally had a finger missing at the knuckle.
Needless to say, we were quite careful of Hershel’s teeth, and we still have all of our fingers intact.
I am participating in the Invisalign Teen Bright Smiles Holiday Photo Contest with Dumb Mom.

I laughed out loud at the irony of a missing finger!
Seriously, I was cracking myself up, too! Nobody else thought it was that funny!
i bet she had so much fun!! She looks so grown up!
Her hair parted and braided like that? Makes me see her as so much older!
She is so full of life! You are indeed blessed.

That smile is priceless! And glad you still have all your digits – ha!
Me, too! I practically threw the carrot at him!

She looks so happy!!!!! My son nver really got into the ‘wanting to ride in a chariot’ even though he loved Jack and Gus.
She looks like a very happy little Cinderella! Glad she enjoyed her chariot!
It was very fun seeing how excited Isabelle was on the carriage ride. It was pretty cute when she asked the driver if she could call Hershell Black Beauty. You should have entered the mug shot of N on the ride. She was more than thrilled.
This is one of the best smile pictures I have seen of Isabelle.
Something about her hair in braids makes her smile better!
Funny, my Dad has talked about taking my girls to do that 😉 Sweet picture of a happy memory, Krystyn!
How fun!

Ummm… “Hey horse dude..can I take a picture of your missing finger that I’m assuming a horse ate?”
Yeah, I don’t think that would have gone well.
That is an AWESOME picture. And oh my goodness about the missing finger. I guess they do look like carrots, so you can’t really blame Hershel.
Never thought of carrots looking like fingers or fingers looking like carrots. Guess that does make sense!
