And, onto the hallway
We have a pretty decent sized landing at the top of our stairs. Even a hallway if you will.
When the previous owners had the house set up, the had a really nice set of hall accent tables up there. It made it nice, and allowed for some more space for pictures (and storage…we could all use more of that).
But, right now. We can’t have any of those cute tables.
Why? Because baby Hercules destroys all things in her room, so we had to move the dresser/changing table into the hallway. Oh, and the big sister can’t have toys in her room because she won’t sleep, so we have an easel there as well.
So, our landing, with the nice hallway? Guess it sort of looks more like a daycare right now.
One day, they’ll grow up, then we can put some nice tables up there.

Oh, our living room is a playroom, too! Heck, N was doing puzzles in my room this morning, so really, it’s the whole house.
I bet one day we’ll miss the times our house looked like a daycare. At least that’s what I tell myself when I trip over YET ANOTHER block.
One day we’ll miss it! But, I don’t see it, yet! Ha.
That is exactly where I am at in life right now. (our kids are about the same age-ish). Sure our houses might not be decorated to look like a fancy magazine spread, but our kids are happy and safe! Soon, when they are moved out, my house will be amazing (and slightly lonelier)

I completely understand. We don’t have a dinning room table, because my dinning room is a playroom. We do have an eat-in kitchen, but still! I want a dinning room table!
