It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

We’ve been on a roll this year doing Atlanta up right! We’ve had fun checking off things on the “must do Atlanta” list and we’ve still got a ton more to go. (Much to the chagrin of our families, we probably won’t ever do everything and then move back to Texas…just putting it out there).

This weekend, we attended the season opening of the Pink Pig ride at Macy’s. It’s been an Atlanta tradition for over 60 years (as long as my math is correct). They’ve since redone the ride to a train, but it used to be in the little pig cage in the background (which use to be suspended in the air and go in the ceiling above the toy department during the holidays). I’ve got to be honest…I think that would have been really cool and from the people that I’ve talked to that have grown up here, they said it was awesome.

E had to actually sit on the seat next to me. It was a little nerve-wracking, but she took it all in and enjoyed herself.

Before the ride, enjoyed a pink pancake breakfast, complete with sausage, strawberries and a pink yogurt parfait with a pink pig on top. If you are ever trying to find pink and you can’t, I think they have most of it in the tent with the Pink Pig! There was also a pink pig balloon artist and face painter, so we had to hit them up, too. Of course, we got some pink cotton candy, too!

We met and took a picture with Priscilla the Pig. She really likes the 50s and rocks her poodle skirt (it was pretty cool because #1 had just talked about the 50s so she really liked her outfit). And, #2, well, she’s super reluctant with all dressed up characters these days. It turns out they put a really cool background in the pictures (with fireworks and a Christmas tree) on that green screen. We didn’t even notice until after we got our pictures.

If you want to have breakfast with Priscilla the Pig there are two more opportunities on November 17th and December 15th benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. You’ll get breakfast, a story, a photo package and of course, a ride on the Macy’s Pink Pig Ride!

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)
