Easy Gluten-Free Breadstick Dippers
Around our house, the Big Game means making food we can eat while watching it. And, usually it’s with the help of the kids and foods they want to eat. Yes, there is a lot of snacking going on. With snacking and cooking, there is inevitably a lot of messes, especially where the kids are concerned in the kitchen!
One thing that is always a hit is breadsticks. You can customize your seasoning and dipping sauces to make them your own.
Easy Gluten-Free Breadstick Dippers
This time we used a packaged gluten-free pizza mix and prepared it as directed.
This involved a lot of mix and eggs on the counter and some very, very sticky hands. Next time we will oil our hands before mixing in the bowl and spreading out the crust on the cookie sheet.
We spread it out into a square on a cookie sheet. Before putting it in the oven, we topped it with some olive oil, kosher salt and Italian seasoning. This is where you can get creative and add whatever seasoning you wanted.
After getting it all ready, we had some serious sink time to wash off the dough and followed it with some Bounty Select-A-Size paper-towels from Walmart. They have a unique trap & lock technology that helped us quickly dry our hands and absorb any messes on the counters.
Sticky, doughy mess gone from the hands and the counter and stove. And, then I can wash the clothes (because, let’s face it, they double as a towel) Tide PODS Spring Meadow. They have 3-in-1 power: detergent, stain remover, brightener. And well, the TP is self-explanatory…let’s just say the girls said “mommy, this is the softest toilet paper ever.”
Back to the breadstick dippers, we baked them according to the package, pulled them out and used a pizza wheel to cut them into sticks and served them with a tomato dipping sauce.
And then they quickly disappeared.
Like cheese? You could add cheese when cooking them, or a cheese sauce for dipping. The options really are limitless.

Breadsticks are always a request in our house. I have to portion out the marinara because someone (AHEM>>> Chase) steals all of mine!
We’ll have to have words about that!
YUM! This recipe looks incredibly delicious, I can’t wait to try it. They would be fantastic with chili or a big fresh salad.
My family loves ranch so if we made these, I know they would want ranch dip with it. Me? I would take the a red suace;)
