Whenever I go to a person’s house or office, or their personal space, I’m drawn to their pictures they have displayed. The pictures that they choose to display show a lot about the person, I think. Are they covering the walls? Are they in clear view for everybody? Are they proudly displayed or hidden a bit only for their eyes?

We have pictures all over our house. Pictures of the kids, of our family, of our extended family and friends. {Note to self, I was good about pictures of #3, but I need to get on the ball for #4}

A year and a half ago, for E’s birthday, I found Social Print Studio. It was love at first sight. I printed out my instagrams of E over the year (all from my phone), ordered them and they arrived in time for me to create a fabulous “1” on the wall for everybody to look at during her party. Money well spent (yes, I spent my dollars!) and her first birthday was a huge hit!

Mr. Serious had mentioned that he wanted an awkwardly shaped magnet collage picture for his new office because they had short magnetic walls. The dimensions were impossible, so I quickly forgot his request. Then N said she wanted to send pictures for daddy’s work for Father’s Day. I took a look at Social Print Studio, and viola, square magnets from my instagram feed. {Yes, I purchased those, too!}

Mr. Serious had a fun time arranging them all over his drawers and desks. He even put one outside of his cube with us toting water guns and added the caption “armed and dangerous!”

I’ve recommended them to many people and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. So, when it was time to get a family picture printed out of the 6 of us (only 6 months later), I asked Social Print Studio if they wanted to work together. And, tada a framed 16×20 print of our whole family up on the wall.

It arrived in a carefully packaged box ready for me to hang on the wall with a SPS heart sticker and stamp on the back. I could 3 out of 4 kids looking as pretty good. So, I’ll take it. And, it marks a special day in our B’s and family’s life.

The frame and the print are nice quality and it’s already received compliments since putting it up on the wall.

Everything I’ve ordered has been spot on. And when I had an issue placing my order (which was all me!), their tech support was more than responsive on email and twitter. And, they are fun and funny! The totally get customer service (and remember, I’ve been a paying customer, too!)

  9. This is fantastic! Already eyeing the magnets and figuring out just how many surfaces in my home are magnetized 😉 How is the picture-to-print quality?

    1. I’ve been very pleased with the quality. I’m not an expert, but I don’t look at them and think “I wish they were better!” You just have to remember where they were taken…for example if you used IG directly to take the picture, the resolution isn’t very good.
