Tooth, Family and Cheese | Mommy and Me Monday | 381st ed

We returned late Tuesday night from our trip to Cancun. Which meant all of the kids (well, I fibbed, the 8 yo was zombie-eyed, but awake and in need of a hug) were in bed and asleep when we got home. So, Wednesday morning was quite exciting.

E’s tooth had been wiggly for a while. I was worried, she would lose it while we were gone. But, it hung on. Barely. So when she came to show me, we got a paper towel for the blood and I sneaky pulled it out. She was pretty happy.

Grandma mentioned that when she was in town for E’s baptism, the oldest lost her first tooth, so it was extra exciting that E lost her tooth while she was here. We are very thankful for my parents watching the kiddos so we could spend a few days away. They had a great time, went on some fun adventures, had soda, and learned new games.

The oldest insisted on taking the pictures, but I wanted to make sure she was in one, too. We have to work on Grandpa Joe’s selfie-taking skills.

I was all ready to head to the gym, when the dentist called to remind that N had a quick appointment. So, those gym plans were cancelled. Yes, it was on my calendar. And yes, I totally forgot about it!

Because I wanted to get something in, while the big 3 were in karate, B and I took a walk around a couple local neighborhoods. I’m glad she likes having her picture taken these days.

Somehow, the shortest of real world weeks and the addition of the kids being off school are always the longest, but we are trying to push through.
