Running with N and a Cool Nap | Mommy and Me Monday | 760th ed
Surprising exactly zero people, there was another race early Saturday morning. This time, it was just for our middle school team. The oldest had to work, and N joined us to get mile splits and got her run in with her friend (that also has a sibling on the middle school team).
I did not get my run in Saturday. But the time we got home I had already been outside too long and it was too hot. N offered to bike with me during my 60 min easy run.
She was good company and carried my fluids. After I finished we grabbed a picture…just so we wouldn’t forget our experience.
Usually after race days or my runs, or both, I shower and try to have some chill time.
That often means laying in bed and watching a show, reading a book, or taking a nap.
This Arc-Chill cooling blanket is perfect for the after run, afternoon chill fest.
Both sides of Elegear cooling products feature Japanese Arc-Chill 3.0 Cooling material(Q-Max>0.5) which can help absorb and dissipate heat, keeping you cool and comfortable throughout the night.
The cooling blanket is double-sided. One side of the cool blanket features the upgraded Arc-chill 3.0 cool fabric, which has the ability to rapidly absorb and dissipate heat (12X faster than cotton), providing an immediate cooling sensation upon contact.
The other side is made of 100% natural Egyptian cotton, offering exceptional softness and excellent breathability.
I like to use the throw on top of my bed so I don’t have to remake the bed mid-day and also because the house is a little warmer during the day. This cooling blanket is lightweight and feels cool on my skin while also providing a little covering that I like when resting.

This weekend there’s a race for the high school kids only. And once again, I’ll probably push my run to Sunday…and hope for a little cooling blanket nap!
