Mommy and Me Monday | Happy Halloween (the 89th ed)
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
How about a little Halloween preview? Well, maybe no. The #1, when asked today what she was going to wear tomorrow said “I haven’t decided yet.” So, maybe not a preview, but I’m guessing it will be similar.
Wednesday, we headed to our old church to see friends and participate in Trunk or Treat, have dinner and a cake walk. We brought along two Cinderella’s. You can’t have just one.
It was nice to see our friends that we haven’t seen in a while, both for us and the girls. And, of course, it’s nice to practice our “Trick-or-treats” and “thank yous!”
First, we got a daddy and me picture, because daddy has been a little absent from the pictures lately.
Then, a blurry, wiggly face mommy and me picture. But, I’ll take it.
I’m guessing some of you will be later linking up this week after you head out trick or treating. But, this doesn’t have to be a Halloween themed picture! Just as long as mommy’s in it, it’s good to go!
By the way, do you regularly trick or treat in your area on the 31st or does your neighborhood do a Saturday thing?
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**
I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love. Please spread the love! And, I never mind the comments, either:)
they look so cute as Cinderellas! and yes, a blurry picture is still a moment to remember!
Thank goodness, because I sure have a lot of them lately!
Our trick or treats are usually always on Halloween. We’ll be going out tomorrow(monday) night! I can’t wait!!
Us, too, but Saturday every year sure would be nice!
Love your pics with your sweet Cinderellas! Our area sticks with trick-or-treating on the actual night be we also went to a trunk or treat on Friday at the kids’ school. It was fun but cold!
Cold here, too! The girls were done!
thanks so much for hosting 🙂 the girls are simply adorable!
Thank you! glad you are joining in!
Awww. Very cute! Two princesses. 🙂
Happy Halloween!
2 princess’ this year and 3 next year. They are cute. Kids in our neighborhood will be out tonight.
I don’t know if we’ll have enough dresses for three of the same next year. Ack!
Our neighborhood does trick-or-treating on Halloween. But this is the first year it’s been on a school night since we’ve lived here. Not sure how late it will go.
Since we have a 2 y/o and a sick 11 month old, I suspect trick-or-treating will be early and quick. But we’ll be sure to get out and get some candy and pictures. I’m not a huge fan of Halloween, but everyone around us just has to see little Audrey in her costume. So we’ll do something.
It was over pretty early here this year, thank goodness. We’ve had kids come by at 9:30 before!
I’m not a big fan, either, but I know the kids love it. I hope you were able to get out for just a little bit.
What pretty princesses! Love the mommy (and daddy!) and me pictures this week 🙂 Our neighborhood tends to do trick or treating on the 31st but there tend to be various events going on around town all weekend long. We’ve been celebrating all weekend here!
Yeah, we celebrated all week, too, but Tuesday sure was rough after the “big” day!
Too sweet! We are going tonight, but how I wish our area would have done something on Saturday 🙂
Wouldn’t life be easier? No traffic and people rushing home from work…no craziness at school the next day?
Two princesses are wonderful!!! I hope the girls are having fun trick or treating tonight!
I’m telling you…your little redheads are the bomb! I could squeeze’em!
Fortunately, they like to be squeezed!
Love your little princesses! Hope they had a fun Halloween!
Oh, they did…and the celebrations leading up to it, too!
i was actually thinking about this yesterday – i wonder if the girls will ever want to be the same thing? makes it easy right?
I predict next year for you! Our girls were the same last year too for a couple of the different events! It’s pretty funny.
my years of experience have taught me to always be prepared, my mommy bag is always filled with water bottles, sunblock, neosporin, and bandaids.
