I think I’m the only person that can’t get a non-blurry shot with the iPhone camera (did I tell you guys I got one? I did!)
My baby turned 1 month old today! Already. Didn’t I just have her?
It happens way too fast.
(Because seriously, I never would have thought in just a little over a week that we would be doing Kindergarten registration for the oldest, either!)
So, here we are a month later. Wouldn’t you know that I’ve only been getting gassy smiles, but today, this little one was all smiles for the doctor. I tried to catch one, but I caught the tail end of it. (Side note: Aren’t they supposed to be done peeling by now? She’s so peely it’s crazy).
I’m certain this time I’m not even making whole milk, but cream. This girl is growing and not looking back. She’s gained almost 2 pounds since she was born for a total of 10 pounds, 9 ounces (1 pound and 15 ounces, which reminds me of the Ellen commercial where she argues with the lady that something isn’t 15 pounds and 99 pence, but is 16 pounds..I digress). And, she’s 21.5 inches long. I think this is the first of our kids that is higher on the weight percentage (87%) than the height (62%).
These girls with their sister? I can’t even put it into words. Yeah, they are a little too helpful sometimes, but mostly, they just love her and are so excited she’s here. This won’t change in a year or two when she’s stealing their stuff right? Or in like 13 years? Nope, they’ll always be this sweet!
To be honest, we are all quite smitten with her. She’s got our hearts!
But, good golly sweet girl, please stop with the growing already. Mama can’t handle it!
