Only 5 1/2 More Months Until Margaritaville!

Our previous blender was and has been a workhorse.  We’ve had it since we got married (almost 7 years ago) and we haven’t had any problems with it, until recently.  And, I think those problems are from putting the rubber washers (that help seal the bottom of the blender) into the dishwasher.  In fact, I imagine if I were to go to the store and replace those pieces, it would be good as new.

I decided to upgrade our blender and got the Cuisinart Smart Power blender.  This baby holds has 40-ounce glass jar.  Talk about some serious margarita damage (in a couple months, of course).

It’s fast, it’s efficient, it crushes ice like that is it’s job (wait, it is), and because it’s glass, it’s really easy to clean.

So far, I’ve experimented with smoothies, and they were delicious.  No lumps, no chunks, perfectly smooth.  And, perfectly delicious.

I can’t wait until I can mix up a batch of margaritas!
