Pants on the Ground, Izzy style

There are so many moments that I wish my video camera was in hand.  Why?  Well, my kids constantly crack me up and I want to remember it.  And, other times, because they are so goshdarnsweet that I want to gobble them up and save it for about 13 years from now when they are teenagers.  Ack!

When stroller derby is going round and round and they stop the minute I get the camera out…I wish I had it on hand.

When they are playing catch and laughing hysterically at each other…I wish I had it on hand.

When they are sharing ever so sweetly with each other…I wish I had it on hand.

There are other moments, where I just happen to have the video camera near by, and I can get them to freeze, and repeat it for me.  Moments just minutes after showing my preschooler the infamous Pants on the Ground video from American Idol.

And, that is a moment that I am oh, so glad to have my camcorder in hand and ready to shoot.  (And, it’s also a moment that I wish my kitchen were just a little cleaner.  But, oh well, I work, I come home, I cook, we eat, and then repeat!)

What moments do you wish you captured on video?

Canon has released the PowerShot SX210 IS, which takes both photos and shoots high definition video. Canon and JuiceBoxJungle sponsored me to write this post, and talk about what shooting video means to my family.
