It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

Recently, E has really gotten into books. She’s always been into them, but now she’s interested in what’s on the pages and wants to know everything that’s happening. What that is, who that is, what color it is, etc. If she doesn’t know, she will ask. If she does know, she will either tell you, or quiz you to see if you know.

Baby Bear, Baby Bear What Do You See? has been a hit lately. (If these books aren’t in your library, I highly recommend them. Illustrations by Eric Carle, repetition so the kids like to read it with you and fun animals).

This week B was needing to be held and E was needing a book read to her right.now! (Seriously, isn’t two awesome?) So, we had a little read.

Mommy and Me Monday

Both girls were very into it. I think I read it three times!

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

Hello again dear. I was in the hospital 22 days. I was too sick with sepsis and liver abscesses to blog…. and the internet at the hospital was not good. I missed keeping up with you. I’m home and I could hardly wait to check in on you. I still have a gift I got for Miss B. I wanted to embroider it and make something for the girls before I sent it but I may have to just send it on. I have a large blood clot that is keeping me down along with the liver strep abscesses. You can go to my blog to get the whole story. I hope I can get the gift off to you before Miss B outgrows it. Happy reading… keep up the good work. Hugs, Grammy Lura

I like Eric Carle books. When I worked as a teacher I loved to read his books to children. I highly recommend them to parents for their childfen. Its worth the investment.

  3. It must have been in the air this week. Red had me read a few books to him over and over. I’m pretty sure I know Tawny Scrawny Lion by heart now!

  4. So sweet. I love when siblings read to each other…
That is why I love when my stepsons come – they read to Broxton and he LOVES that time with them 🙂

    1. Yes, it’s nice for them to get a book read to them…and get a mommy break from the reading:)

  5. Aww, so cute! My girls love Eric Carle books. We usually read The Hungry Caterpillar every night before bed. (Seriously, we have a bookshelf full of books, but it’s always the same ones they want over and over! Lol.)

    1. Funny how they love repetition, right? But, it’s totally all kids that do!

  6. We need to get these books for sure. When I first saw this picture I thought you had a doll on your lap…then I realized it was B! So fun you can read to two at once.
