Silly sister smiles in skirts

We got our tree up this weekend!  The girls were super excited about putting it up, getting lights on it, and hanging all of their special ornaments.  So what if it’s only slightly taller than them.  That makes it all the more fun.

What’s more amazing to me?  We’ve since put presents under it (and after turning the talking doll around because she was randomly talking), and they haven’t messed with them at all.  Not even trying to be sneaky!

After we got the tree up, we had a little photo shoot.  Yeah, they’re a little blurry, but I can see my girls…and good golly, gosh darn it, how do I have two girls, two girls that can pose in front of the camera?  I can’t wrap my mind around it.

We’ve got the super sassy older sister.  Seriously, she spends time every day in the pose.  It kills me.

Then, the little sister (who isn’t really little anymore) swoops in and gets some hugs.

And, I get some cheesy smiles.

Daddy started to make the girls laugh and smile.

So of course they stopped looking at me.

Then, the big ran off and left her little sister all alone…she was a little sad about it.

December by the tree

And, that ends the photo shoot recap.

And, makes me realize that I’ve got to find some better matching shirts for their adorable matching skirts…light blue?  green?  I can’t decide.  (By the way, if you are looking, check out Prairie Mama Designs* these skirts rake in the compliments!).  I should also figure out how to get just a little bit more light in our living room.

I’m linking up here.  Go and visit their Wordful and Wordless Wednesdays.

*Totally my opinion..she didn’t ask me to post this…they are just that awesome I want to pass her store along to you!

Your girls look adorable in their matching skirts. I’d probably go for light blue or white since that seems to go with anything.
