Sisters and Sisters at the Square | Mommy and Me Monday | 160th ed
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.
It was a whirlwind, fun-filled weekend with my sister in town. She told us if she’s having a boy or a girl and the baby’s name….not telling here, though. The girls even got to participate in a video telling grandma and grandpa.
She helped me find a super cute outfit and pair of shoes (which was with drama as are most of our shopping experiences) and I helped her find some candy that she’s been wanting like crazy and can’t get her hands on.
Our intentions were to hit up the Botanical Gardens, but Saturday got away from us. Then Saturday night, we had our first case of the pukes with Miss E, so we decided to stay closer to home and grab some play time at the train and ice cream.
We’re always sad when she has to leave, but always looking forward to the next visit.
We must have just missed you – we were there for a long time this weekend. Keeping little E in our thoughts and hoping she feels better soon!
uhm how did i miss your sister being preggers?? super huge congrats to all!!
Love the fashion advice for candy trade-off! Too fun!
Super cute family pic!
Cute! Great photo of the family.
Always so much fun visiting with family, and you hate to see them go. Looks like everyone had a great time!
It’s definitely bittersweet, but makes it that much more fun to see them, right?
Yes, definitely! 🙂
Awww – it looks like ya’ll had a great time! Sister time is always special!
It is very special…and now that she’s going to be a mommy, we’ll have something else to bond over.
Awww, I hope your little one feels better soon!! And congrats on the new little niece or nephew. 🙂
Thank you! It’s a niece:)
So cute to see the two sisters take the three itty bitty sisters out for a day of fun.
It was nice..I’m glad they all love each other so much.
What a fun visit! Well, minus the puking. Boo. 🙁 Hope everyone is feeling better now!
And what a fabulous pic! So many pretty ladies all in one picture!
Aww…thanks Kat…and even a little niece in there, too:)
So, I kind of copied you this week. All my sisters minus one were in town this weekend for Sesame’s birthday.
we were just there the other day… lol
gotta love the train 🙂
We love the square..we just need to make it to the Farmer’s market again.
You mean I can use this an excuse to get out and hang with friends? Brilliant! PS The picture is beautiful!
Well, an excuse for hanging out with the kiddos.
Adorable! How do you like the ergo? I am thinking I need a new carrier. I have the moby and the bjorn. Both are so hot though 🙁
I LOVE my Ergo. It goes everywhere with us (I didn’t even bring a stroller on a 14 day trip to Michigan last summer). It can still get hot (because you’ve got a little oven attached to you), but not nearly as hot as a Moby..I never felt like tying that thing on once they got bigger. I can’t compare the hot to a Bjorn as I don’t have one.
There is one that is supposed to be cooler (maybe the “Performance” Ergo), but I haven’t tried it out.
How’s little E doing? I hope she feels better now! The Botanical Gardens looks beautiful right now, but I can only imagine that it will get better once a few more things have time to bloom. Hopping over to your sister’s blog (and the video!) right now 🙂
Much better. It was like a 48 hour bug.
I’m sure we’ll get there in a couple weeks when it warms up again.
