Bottled water is sooo last decade

I’ve never been a fan of buying bottled water.  We do it very, very rarely (like when we have people over at the house and are entertaining).  But, it’s just sooo much waste!  And, since professing myself a hippie, I’m even more against it.

So, I’m super thankful that we don’t drink bottled water.  We get our water from our fridge door with our Whirlpool filter.  It tastes good, is super easy (even our 3 year old can help herself to water), and as long as our water supply to the house is working, we’ve got a practically endless supply.  Most of the time, we just drink it out of glasses, but we do use reusable bottles when we go out so we have fresh water on hand.

It might not be a huge deal for some people, but for me, I’d rather our recycling bucket not be completely full to the brim of little plastic water bottles.  And, this is one of the ways we can make sure that we aren’t contributing to the plastic wastes.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
