Bowlero | Mommy and Me Monday | 363rd ed
This weekend, Mr. Serious was away. The best way to get us through the weekend is a lot of distractions. So, when Bowlero Kennesaw said they were opening, I jumped at the chance to come check it out. There were a couple happy girls to join me and one that wasn’t quite so impressed.
While checking out their 34 lanes of blacklight bowling entertainment, we were able to grab some delicious bites (I don’t know how their fries were so good, but yum! And avocado hummus….and a BBQ chicken salad…Everything was delicious). After lunch, the girls got to try out their cookie skillet s’more dessert. Those four spoons couldn’t shovel fast enough.
They feature a full “Go Crazy” menu like the gigantic “Party Pretzel” and the signature Behemoth Burger—a 5-lb, 14-inch-round party burger named one of America’s top burgers.
They aren’t messing around with their food!
While the girls bowled, I asked if we could get a quick picture with their VIP host, former Braves pitcher and Hall of Famer John Smoltz. He was happy to oblige. (I’m hoping to get a copy of the professional pictures snapped while we were there!… yay…I got one!)
E was so excited. “I’ve never met a Brave before!”
After bowling, we checked out the cutting-edge arcade with more than 55 games, seven billiard tables, two foosball tables. Ski-ball and connect four were big winners. Apparently, somebody finally found her smile and wasn’t able to look at the camera. So I call that a total win.
We wanted to head into the world-class, 3,000+ square-foot laser tag arena, but missed the chance to sign up. We are definitely planning on trying it out another time.
We, of course couldn’t miss the’65 Ford Mustang and a ’68 Chevy Camaro proudly displayed throughout the location. Two girls didn’t want to leave the seats even though they couldn’t even see out of the car. B was obsessed with the red car and HAD to go see it several times.
Bowlero is the same company as Bowlmor AMF, Bowlmor Lanes, Brunswick Zone and AMF, so I’m sure if this location isn’t close to you, you can find one in your area as well. Thank you to Bowlero for hosting us as this event.
I know it’s good for us to do the solo parenting gig, but I was exhausted after our outing. I’m glad Mr. Serious is back home and ready for our co-parenting to continue!
What did you do this week?
All this to say, JUST GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT!
Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.  Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friend’s husband.
All the smiles! I saw the new Bolero ownership almost overnight. I want to go see the new offerings!
Right? I feel like it happened overnight, too! I have no idea how the inside changed as I hadn’t been in there before.
Looks like so much fun and oh my gosh, I want to try all that food!!
SOOO much good food. And we hardly tried all of it!
That looks like so much fun! I want a cookie skillet s’mores dessert – yum! 🙂
