Don’t mind if I do
While it might look like Miss #2 is helping herself to some of her sister’s “Bird Cereal” without her permission, that is not the case.
In fact, #1 is the nicest, most caring big sister. She loves to do things for her little sister and to share with her. She helps her out when she is sad, and loves to make her smile.
And, yes, I plan on having all of these pictures of my girls being sweet to each other framed, mounted and hung all around our house to gently remind them of how much they love each other. I have a sister. I know how it is.
Head over to Angie’s for more Wordful Wednesdays…for those of us that can’t not talk.
is it sad that i truly feel like all these sisterly love posts are written just for me? i mean i know this blog is about you and your girls but sometimes i feel like you are writing just to me 🙂
What a wonderful big sister!
I definitely agree with getting these pictures framed–I will be doing the same to show Isabella and Madelyn that see? You two do love each other!
So Sweet! I love watching my son interact with my girls as well and I pray that they will always be so sweet and kind with each other. But, I have a brother, and know that wasn't always the case! Ha! I like the whole, holding for evidence idea, to remind them as you said!
BTW…I totally think my daughter, Lilah, is going to have the same red hair as your little one!
That is nice.
I'd have gone, "MINE!" and slapped the hand away.
LOL! That's too sweet. When Isabella tries to get Evan's stuff he usually looks at me and goes BAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Thats my cue to get Isabella off of his stuff!
Oh that is so so sweet!! I love it. My son has really sweet moments like that – and then he has times where he specifically does things that annoy her. All in one day. 🙂
I love it! I think it's awesome that the little one is grabbing from the bigger one and I am sure the bigger one is not oblivious. I am always believing that my children have a sweet relationship and things like those moments are encouraging!
What a sweet picture.
That is such a sweet photo, yes, I agree frame them, these are the best types!!
I love the moments when my kids are nice to each other. It seems like it's rarer than I would wish. At there are nice moments though. It makes a mama's heart swell.
I love looking at photos of your girls!
And how cute is "bird cereal"? It took me a second to get it!
That is so cute!……..Where does the time go? They are getting so big…….
Aw, they are so cute and yes, I have a sister too. Frame this picture and look at it often. 🙂
I LOVE their hair!!
I cant wait to meet them one day!! it will be so awesome to see them in person after hearing such great stories all these years!!
(now book a trip to Houston please!!) lol
That is so sweet. And I agree. This visual reminders are (or will be) key!
that is really super sweet of Isabelle!
Glad your little girls are friends! Makes things much easier for you.
You crack me up! That is a good idea though…maybe I should find a couple of those and hang them up everywhere! You are full of ideas today!
What a great sisterly moment!! I have sisters too and they are my most favorite people and best friends! Sisters are fantabulous!
What a sweet big sister!
Yep, I'd say a nice collage of all the pictures when they are teenages will be a good reminder! 😉
Cute as ever…
Miss those innocent days… Sadly, my 2 older kids are entering their teens now, and any such poaching of foods/snacks/drinks always end up in a nasty quarrel/fight. Tough for me to referee too, as they are both as tall as and heavier than I now…
You're wise to frame them. There will be some catfights ahead. But I'll bet as adults they're going to be the bestest of friends!
Such sweet sisters!
You're two are just the cutest! It's so nice to hear that they get along so well, but at least your prepared for the days when the don't!
There are those sweet moments…and there are those I'm gonna pull out your hair moments…and then when you're all grown up…there are those…you're my best friend and I couldn't make it without you moments. I have a sister too. : )
That is the sweetest thing! I do not have a sister, so I am thrilled to have two girls. I hope they will be as caring and loving, we are off to a good start!
They are so cute (well, duh) and they really do look alike, don't they? I mean, you can tell they are sisters. 🙂
That is a grreat picture. When are we getting a disc or pictures on snap fish to order? Is N's hair going to be straight? I would love to see a comparison with her and Izzy this age.
Oh I love it! There is something about sisters I just adore 🙂
