The Jungle Book is a rollicking adventurous movie, with lots of action right from the beginning. It will take you on more adventures and twists and turns than the cartoon version.

The Jungle Book starts with Mowgli training with his wolf pack family and Bageera, the panther.

It’s clear from the beginning that this movie leans more to action than whimsy. Did I mention the scary parts? Well, they’re not really scary, more startling. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but you never know when a tiger (Sher Khan) will pounce! And, it may or may not lead to you jumping out of your seat. Not that I would know anything about that.

Keep watching and pay attention because the expected is not what you think!

The Jungle Book Grid

Disney has created these great activities to go along with The Jungle Book launch. The Jungle Book Grid is great fun for the kids as they practice their numbers and math and unearth one the characters from The Jungle Book (I won’t spoil the fun).

  1. The CGI was SOOOOOO real, and it was beautiful. But I really wish they had cast differently for King Louis and Kaa. It was so bad it took me right out of the film.

  2. So much homage to the orignal animated film. But I have some beef with the casting directors. Some of those choices were off!
