I have 3 co-workers who have fought breast cancer in 5 years. It stinks, but they are doing great now thanks to early detection!
Supporting Breast Cancer is a noble cause. A dear costume designer/teacher from my alma mater passed away from this dreadful disease. The students there still collect money every year in her name, and I so the same.
The donation is important to me because I like to help out worthy causes whenever I can and I have had a few family members that died of cancer.
My MIL, friend, and various relatives on my father’s and aunt’s side has had cancer. I worry about it all the time, and am afraid I might one day have it. Research is important.
Breast cancer is important to me as a woman, and a mother. I want to protect my daughter from it.
