FaceTime with the Fam | Mommy and Me Monday | 394th ed
My niece has wanted to chat with us more in the last week or so. It’s funny because she doesn’t even really want to chat. She just wants to look at us and for everybody to talk to her.
We missed her one day and then another day, it was dinner time, so we finally caught each other right after showers and baths at our house.
I need a longer arm to get everybody’s face on the screen, but we made it work.
It was really funny when my middle niece got confused and thought she saw mommy on the screen…it was me! I guess we kind of look alike.
Please keep Texas and Louisiana in your prayers. This isn’t a sprint and will definitely be a marathon as some of the clean up process has just started. There are still homes and neighborhoods under water with no relief in sight.
What did you do this week?
GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.  Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friend’s husband.
How fun! We FaceTime with my 2 nephews (9mo and almost 2-1/2yrs) – they love seeing us. Especially my wild & crazy kids. 😉
So glad your family is safe. My thoughts and prayers go out to those in Texas and Louisiana. We’ve been through several hurricanes here in NC, but nothing that even remotely compares. Heartbreaking.
Oh yes, there is a certain level of crazy…at some point, we just let the kids talk!
Thank you! It’s been scary for sure and this season isn’t even over.
I love that you make the time to facetime your niece! Mine all live 10 hours away, so we do the same thing. 🙂
Yep, they are 14 hours away by car! So it’s a necessity!
