Lounging around and pumpkins | Mommy and Me Monday | 401st ed

This entire week was early release. Which meant we had a lot of extra time with each other (an extra hour with B and an extra two hours with the other three). And also meant that after Monday, the girls were all unplugged and technology free. At first, they weren’t happy at all, but they quickly found so much to do and entertained themselves way better. As a plus, there was a lot less arguing and disagreements.

We also had parent teacher conferences…the girls are all doing very well in school and their teachers are pleased. So, we are pleased.

Friday, we had a group dermatologist appointment and B didn’t have school at all. After my workout, we came home and got cleaned up. I finally caved and let B watch a preschool show and we had some much needed downtime. Which meant she was snuggled up on my lap and super comfy.

This girl hardly ever snuggles, even when she says she wants a snuggle.

This weekend brought some pumpkin carving with daddy while I had a Lips and Sips party. We all had a good time. They just got a little dirtier!

It will be nice to have a more regular schedule this week and go back to more of our routine-ish. Just don’t tell the girls I’m sneaking off to see Thor this week!
