Happy 6th birthday, E! | Mommy and Me Monday | 419th ed
I remember 6 years ago like it was yesterday. And, yet I still go reread the full birth story.
We had prayed and prayed for this rainbow baby. And she was finally on her way.
The midwife kept asking how big our other girls were (~7.5 pounds) and said over and over, my E wasn’t going to be that. Then she scared me by calling over a lot of people, but I pushed that almost 9 pound E out.
Later when I asked the midwife, she told me she was almost certain E was going to have her shoulders stuck and they were going to have to do something drastic to get her out.
Thankful every day that nothing had to be done and my biggest baby made it earthside safe and sound.
She’ll always be my rainbow baby, and the one that’s just a little extra special and different. My only non-redhead. My only olive-complected.

Happy 6, E! You asked for some birthday sushi for lunch and I agreed. And you told all of your friends how good it was and they all said “yuck” and you didn’t care.

Always be you!!!

No matter what anybody tells you!

May all your birthday dreams come true.

Evelyn is certainly a miracle. Love the pics
She is a very sweet (although I may change my mind on that one when I can’t chop the onions fast enough), loving, funny and beautiful girl.
Awww. It looks like she had a great time. My kids ask for sushi for their birthdays too!
Everybody always thinks it’s funny..I’m like, they have good taste!
