My birthday week | Mommy and Me Monday | 428th ed

My timehop was telling me that 5 years ago, I found out I was pregnant with this little monkey. Which means, holy cow, she turns 5 this year! Combining that crazy fact with fact that my purse was stolen when our van was broken into and then some news about my gallbladder, it’s been a week. I’m trying to stay positive and spend time with these crazy people and enjoy it.

Like grabbing the silly selfies with B while waiting for preschool drop-off to start.

And opening my super awesome fanny pack that the girls got me so I can keep my wallet and phone close to me! It’s a pretty sweet and thoughtful gift.

Mr. Serious and I even took a weeknight out to attend an event and even have a sitter on my actual birthday! (I’m being nice and not sharing the goofy selfies he took of himself!)

Friday morning, B woke up and asked to snuggle in bed after he sisters went to school. I was more than happy to oblige. Sometimes she gets me.

I know this week is going to be another crazy one and I’m not sure these crazy weeks will slow down anytime soon, so we will continue to make the best of what we have and maybe make a little lemonade from all of these lemons.

I do love a good fanny pack! That JanSport one is cool, and it was a thoughtful gift, all things considered. Prayers for your gall bladder!
