That title. Did you LOL? Because I sure did!
My friend Meghan had a school assignment for her photography class and asked to come and take some pictures. The professor didn’t like the first round of pictures (where I actually had my hair and makeup done), so this round, I was going for my actual, real look….post-gym, post-sauna, Friday afternoon-life picture where the middle schooler still hadn’t stepped off the bus. It doesn’t get more real then this!
And this is what she got. Two kids that were ho-hum about a picture with mom and one pre-teen that was so over it that over it doesn’t even cover it.
But even with their vibes, I think it really captures them and I’m kind of digging the moody, serious look.
I thought it would be fun to come out to our garage gym to grab some pictures, too since the girls will come workout with us on occasion. Again, anybody looking to hire this fun bunch? I think I should have an agent standing by!
But it turns out, everybody is happy for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. So, we’ll call that a win.
And you know, one day, they will be glad to have this gigantic series of pictures and stories to look back on with each other and maybe their kids, right? Riiggghhht? Please say I’m right!
What did you do this week?
GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Come share your picture on the Facebook thread or use #MommyAndMeMonday!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. And N will hopefully laugh about being so moody. Because there are bigger things to worry about than sitting in for a photo. She’ll get it…. one day…. maybe just not today. <3
Definitely not today! But, I think she will. And honestly, despite her grump, I feel you can see into her soul a little here.
